Payments go directly to your own Stripe account at Stripe's published rates — YourCart never takes a cut of your sales.

What you'll never pay us

  • No transaction fee. We take nothing on your sales — your customers' money goes straight to your Stripe account.
  • No setup fee. Getting your apps built and submitted is part of the £49.
  • No per-push-notification fee. Message your customers as much as you like.
  • No app-update fee. New versions ship as part of the plan.
  • No per-seat fee. Add your team; the price doesn't change.
  • No tier upgrades, no enterprise upsell. There's one plan. You already have all of it.

Two costs go to the app stores, not to us: the Apple Developer Program ($99/year, paid by you directly to Apple) and the Google Play developer fee ($25 one-off, which YourCart pays — you never see a Google bill). More on both below.

And what we'll never promise you

  • We won't promise your Android app goes live instantly. Google reviews every first release — yours is typically live on Google Play within about 7 days.
  • We won't do your Apple enrolment for you. You enrol with Apple yourself (about 1.5 hours); we hand you the walkthrough and support you through it.
  • We won't upsell you a mobile tier. Mobile is included in the one £49 plan — there's no premium upgrade to unlock.
  • We won't put a business name on your App Store listing you haven't earned. Enrol with Apple as an Individual and the "Seller" line shows your personal legal name; enrol as an Organization for a business name.

What the alternatives really cost

To get a branded app on Shopify you stack an app-builder on top of your Shopify plan. Those builders are flat-priced — the same bill whether you're doing £3k or £300k a month. Pick where your shop is today and see what each option would take out of your revenue.

Your monthly revenue

At ~£2,500/month, a Shopify + Tapcart stack takes about 16% of your revenue. YourCart takes about 2%.

Option (branded app + online store) Flat monthly cost Share of a ~£2,500/mo shop
Shopify Basic + Tapcart (Growth) ≈ £393 ≈ 16%
Shopify Basic + Superfans (was Vajro) ≈ £767 ≈ 31%
YourCart — everything in one plan £49 ≈ 2%

Assumptions (verified 2026-07-07, USD→GBP 0.748): Shopify Basic £19/mo (annual billing). Tapcart entry "Growth" tier $500/mo ≈ £374 (Tapcart's next tier, "Scale", is $1,250/mo). Superfans (superfans.io, formerly Vajro) single Unlimited plan $1,000/mo ≈ £748. Apple's $99/year developer fee is merchant-paid on every option and cancels out. Payment-processing fees are Stripe's published rates on every option and also cancel out. Percentages are the flat monthly cost against the representative revenue for each band, rounded.

Founding rate

The first 20 shops pay £24.50/month for 24 months — half price — and keep a permanent guard against future price rises. When our public price eventually goes up, founding shops stay put.

The real perk isn't the discount: founding shops have a direct line to what gets built next. Your requests shape the roadmap. Support is by email — admin@yourcart.store — read and answered by the founder personally.

The cost questions everyone asks

What's the Apple $99 charge — and do you take a cut of it?

Apple charges $99/year for its Developer Program. You enrol with Apple in your own name and pay Apple directly — it never touches YourCart, and we never mark it up. You become the publisher of record for your app on the App Store; we build it and submit it to your account for you. (Sole traders can enrol on Apple's Individual tier the same day with no extra paperwork — the one trade-off is your personal legal name shows on the App Store "Seller" line. We flag that up-front.)

And the Google Play fee?

Google charges a one-off $25 developer fee. YourCart pays it — you never see a Google bill and do zero Google paperwork. Your Android app publishes under YourCart's Play Console with your brand front and centre (icon, name, screenshots). It goes live within a few days — up to about 7 — because Google reviews every first publish by hand.

Can I cancel? Is there a refund?

Cancel any time — it's monthly, no contract, no questions. Outside the founding cohort there's no refund for the month you're in, but nothing rolls over. Founding-cohort shops get a 30-day money-back guarantee (a £500 productive-use threshold applies) to cover the early-days risk. Full terms are in our Refund Policy, linked in the footer.

Why £49? Isn't Shopify cheaper?

Shopify Basic is about £19/month — but that's a web store with no app. To add a branded iPhone and Android app you bolt an app-builder on top, and the cheapest real Shopify + Tapcart stack lands around £393/month. YourCart is £49 flat with the apps and the store included — roughly a fifth of that. The extra ~£30 over Shopify's own price buys the native apps outright, with nothing stacked on top. (For the record: until 2026 Tapcart also charged a 2.5% fee on every app sale; it's since moved to higher flat tiers.)

Is there a free trial?

No — setting up your catalogue, branding, and app submission is too involved to gate behind a trial, so you subscribe from day one. The founding-cohort money-back guarantee covers the early risk, and you can explore the whole platform on our live demo before you commit.
