From signup to live apps: here's exactly what happens
Create your account, connect card payments, and upload your logo and brand assets. Most shops finish in one sitting (~15–20 min). Your web store goes live the same week. Your apps come next: one process covers both stores, and it starts once your App Store app setup is complete (your Apple enrolment starts that setup).Install the YourCart sales channel from the Shopify App Store and connect in a few clicks, and your published products sync into the app automatically. Your apps go to both stores through one process, and it starts once your App Store app setup is complete (your Apple enrolment starts that setup).
Add your products, categories, shipping rates, and pricing in your vendor admin portal. Sub-100 SKUs takes a few evenings; 100–500 is a weekend. Nothing goes live until you're ready.Nothing to rebuild: your Shopify catalogue is the catalogue. Publish or unpublish a product in Shopify and the app follows; inventory and price changes sync automatically.
Open an Apple Developer account ($99/year, paid direct to Apple). Apple publishes that it confirms membership within 24 hours of purchase; Organization enrolment also needs a D-U-N-S and binding-authority check, for which Apple publishes no timeframe. Your enrolment starts your App Store app setup, YourCart finishes it, and then builds and submits your branded iOS app. We handle the App Store submission entirely.
Web store goes live the week you sign up. Your Apple Developer enrolment is the critical path, and it's your only hands-on task. It starts your App Store app setup; one process then covers both stores and cannot start until your App Store app setup is complete. Each store’s app goes live when that store’s own review passes. Tell your customers whenever you're ready.

Standalone platform: £49/month. Everything included — web storefront and both apps. Monthly billing, cancel any time.
YourCart for Shopify: $59/month, billed by Shopify. One plan. Your Shopify store stays your web store and checkout — YourCart adds the branded apps.
Beta honesty: you help us test and shape the platform, and you get a direct line to the founder for anything that needs sorting or any feature request.
Have a promo code? You can enter it on the secure checkout page.
Stripe's published processing rate applies to your sales, same as Shopify Payments. No YourCart application fee on payments.
Android is managed entirely by YourCart: no Google signup needed, no $25 Google account fee, no D-U-N-S. The iOS App Store requires merchants to hold their own Apple Developer account ($99/yr paid directly to Apple; Apple's rules, not ours), and that enrolment starts your App Store app setup, which gates both apps: one process covers the App Store and Google Play, and it cannot start until that setup is complete. YourCart guides you through setup, handles the build, submission, and updates on your behalf.
The YourCart sales channel was submitted to the Shopify App Store on 14 August 2026 and is currently in Shopify's review queue. Until Shopify approves the listing it can't be installed — that's the normal path every Shopify app takes, and there's nothing to sign up for in the meantime.
What to expect at launch: install from the App Store listing, connect in a few clicks, and your published Shopify products sync into your own branded iPhone and Android apps. Shoppers check out in your Shopify checkout, and orders land in your Shopify admin attributed to the YourCart channel. $59/month, billed by Shopify.

| Web store | Your Shopify plan, bought separately | ✓ Included |
| Custom domain | Extra, on Shopify | ✓ Included |
| Google Play developer account | Varies by builder. Tapcart, for one, advertises a “Managed Apple & Google developer portal” while its pricing page states that all plans require your own Apple Developer and Google Play accounts | You never register with Google at all — your Android app ships under our Play Console |

| iPhone and Android apps | The builder's job, on its own subscription | ✓ Included |
| When it goes live | Whatever the builder and the stores take | We tell you the real sequence: one process covers both stores and cannot start until your App Store app setup is complete, then each store's app goes live when that store's own review passes. Apple publishes that 90% of submissions are reviewed in under 24 hours; Google publishes that review can take up to seven days, or longer in exceptional cases |
| Fee on app sales | Depends on the builder — some charge a percentage above a revenue threshold | None. Flat fee, whatever you sell |
| What the app costs each month | $49 to $500 for the builder — the range across the 8 of the 24 listed Shopify app builders that publish a price — on top of your Shopify plan, from £19/month on annual billing | £49, store included |
| What it costs as you grow | Flat, until a revenue threshold or a tier moves you up | Still flat |

The difference is not only the bill. We build and submit your apps for you, you hold the Apple account so the App Store listing is yours, you never deal with Google at all, and the web store and custom domain are in the same subscription — not a second one.
Builder prices read from Shopify App Store listings on 19 August 2026; 8 of the 24 apps listed in the Mobile app builder category publish a price at all, and the rest are not therefore cheaper — some bill outside Shopify. A Shopify plan is extra on every builder option. Apple's developer fee is paid by the merchant on every option here, ours included, and payment processing applies on every side — both cancel out of the comparison. Founder, YourCart.Store
I am the founder of YourCart.Store, a jack of all trades developer with a dream: to build something I truly care about. It has been a long and interesting journey learning multiple programming languages, frameworks and methodologies to get here, and I believe I have something special that separates YourCart from the competition.
My mission is providing small business owners with their own E-Commerce mobile app and website at an affordable monthly price. Mobile apps have typically been too expensive for small businesses, and with YourCart I want to change that by delivering real value for money.
If you have any questions or a bug you want to report, please drop me an email at admin@yourcart.store and we can take it from there!
Shopify Basic starts at £19/month on annual billing, but it is web only. Native apps mean an app-builder subscription on top, and that is where the bill compounds: across the 8 of the 24 Shopify app builders that publish a price, the lowest paid tier runs from $49 to $500 a month. YourCart at £49 includes both native apps and the web store in one bill.
None from us. YourCart charges no application fee on payments. Your customers pay only Stripe's standard processing fees, published at stripe.com/gb/pricing. Those processing fees apply whichever platform you use, so they cancel out of any comparison.
Yes — YourCart is also a Shopify sales channel (submitted to the Shopify App Store, currently in review). Install it and keep your Shopify store exactly as it is: your published products sync into your own branded iPhone and Android apps, shoppers check out in your Shopify checkout, and orders land in your Shopify admin attributed to the YourCart channel. $59/month, billed by Shopify — one plan.
Early users have a direct line to the roadmap: the user base is small enough that one feature request can move what I'm working on this week.
Google Play (Android): You never register with Google at all. Your Android app publishes under YourCart's Play Console with your brand on the listing, so there is no Google developer account to create and no Google paperwork to do. One process covers both stores and cannot start until your App Store app setup is complete, so your Android app never goes ahead of your iPhone app. It goes live once Google's review approves. Google publishes that review can take up to seven days, or longer in exceptional cases.
Apple App Store (iOS): Apple's own rules (Guideline 4.2.6) prohibit app-platform SaaS companies from submitting apps under their own account, so every builder in this category works the same way. You hold your own Apple Developer account — which is what makes you the publisher of record on the App Store — and Apple's annual fee of 99 USD goes directly to Apple, never through us. YourCart walks you through the setup, then handles the build, submission and updates inside your account. Two paths: Individual (no D-U-N-S needed, your personal legal name as seller) or Organisation (free D-U-N-S, your business name as seller). Apple publishes that it confirms membership within 24 hours of purchase, and publishes no timeframe for the Organisation verification step.
Yes. Your logo, your app name, your icon on the home screen. Customers see your brand, not YourCart's. The Android app is published under YourCart's Google Play account, no merchant signup needed. The iOS app is published under your own Apple Developer account, which Apple's rules require of every builder in this category. Either way, it looks and feels entirely like your shop.
Web store: same day. Your Apple enrolment sets the pace, for both apps. Apple's published guidance is that you'll have a membership confirmation within 24 hours of purchase. Enrolling as a company adds a business-identity check (a D-U-N-S Number and a binding-authority check), and Apple publishes no timeframe for it, so we won't invent one. Then one process covers both stores: it cannot start until your App Store app setup is complete, so your Android app can't be sent ahead of your iPhone app. Review: Apple publishes that 90% of submissions are reviewed in under 24 hours on average; Google publishes up to seven days, or longer in exceptional cases. Each store goes live when its own review passes. If Apple flags anything, we handle the resubmission at no extra cost.
There's no automated Shopify import today; products and customers go in manually through the onboarding wizard. Most merchants get a working store up in an afternoon. Keep your Shopify store live while you build YourCart out, switch your domain when you're ready, and run both side-by-side as long as you want. Bulk-import tooling is on the roadmap. If you get stuck, email admin@yourcart.store or use the in-app support chat.
No: the mobile-app setup is too involved to gate behind a trial. You can cancel any time monthly with no contract, but there's no refund for the current month. The live demo shows you the platform before you commit.
It means occasional things may break: a deploy glitch, an edge case in checkout. We'll tell you as soon as we know if something affects you and fix critical issues as fast as we can. You have a direct line to the founder (email or in-app chat). We're not at "enterprise polish" yet, but we're a real product processing real money for real shops. Service-level remedies are governed by the Refund Policy and Terms of Service.
Not ready to sign up yet? No pressure. Email me at admin@yourcart.store with any question — it comes straight to me, the founder, and I'll reply personally.
